22 1/2 weeks pregnant!

I have been feeling the baby move like crazy! It is so amazing to feel a little jab here and there, knowing it's probably her sweet little foot or knee! ha ha! Also, this past Saturday, Josiah was able to feel her for the first time. Ever since then, he has started talking more to her. I will let you know the first song he sings to her. I hope it will be the lullaby he started to write in college!! He has been adding to it since he found out we were having a girl. It goes something like this: "Close your eyes my sweet baby, evening's over the day. The sun is set free, again. Let your thoughts drift away............. Rest your head, "Love", My Darling. Soon, your sweet dreams will come. Lay your head on your pillow. Now the daylight is gone." But to hear HIM sing it brings tears to my eyes....honestly, it is beautiful.

One more item to add to "Think Pink" below:

During our ultrasound, we saw her opening her mouth to swallow fluid (which is a good thing). As we were watching her, she got the hiccups (also a good thing) and it made her entire body bounce. Josiah thought this was sooooooooooo adorable so her nicknamed her "Hiccup." So, for right now, her name is "Hiccup!"

Think Pink!!!

That's right! We had our 20 week appointment today with ultrasound and saw that we are having a sweet little girl!!! I could not be more thrilled!!! Josiah was shocked but he's very excited! He loved seeing my face when the doctor told us. She said that everything else was looking good...brain, kidneys, stomach, bladder.......and heart. The sweet little heart and its' four chambers. Many of you don't know that I had a sister. Her name was Autumn Love and she died when she was four. She had only 2 chambers in her heart. It was an answer to our prayers to see that our little baby "Love" had four. We are going to use the middle name Love in honor of my sister. Also, my mom has this middle name and other aunts and cousins. We don't know the first name yet, but will let you know when we decide! Please continue to pray for our little one. My due date is still November 17!!!

So far.....not so good at blogging

Hey everyone! So sorry I am not good at this blogging thing yet! The truth is, I haven't really taken any belly pics, so there aren't any pic updates really. However, I did have a 16 week apt on June 2, 2008 and the baby had a heartbeat of 154....that was exciting!! Also, I started feeling the baby move that same week...felt like popcorn popping in my tummy, butterflies, hunger pains...It's pretty incredible! My sonogram is July 2 and that's when we find out what we are having. This is our first and either way, we are thrilled!!! I am 17 weeks this week, and I promise to go home, take a pic of myself, and post it on here! Thanks to everyone who has commented so far. Thanks for being excited with us!! You will be hearing more soon....PROMISE!!!
